This short course is meant for everyone with a basic knowledge of English, who would like to improve his or her skills of listening, understanding and speaking. We practise everyday situations and talk about subjects you find interesting. Focus is more on communication and less on grammar. Book in consultation with the teacher.
This course can be followed by students who do not speak Dutch. The teacher is a native speaker.
Een goede basis kennis van het Engels is nodig. We oefenen alledaagse situaties. De focus ligt op communiceren en minder op grammatica. De spreekvaardigheid wordt bevorderd door opdrachten in groepjes. Uiteraard besteden we ook aandacht aan de Britse cultuur.

All English courses may be attended by Non-Dutch: English will be the language of the classroom. This course is ment for students who have attended English at the Volksuniversiteit or elsewhere (B1/B2 level-HAVO) in previous years. The content is interesting, as the method LIFE/National Geographic offers modern topics and enjoyable videos. An extensive website and workbook are added. Reading, writing, listening and speaking are all trained in the classroom. This course is a must for students who wish to refresh their knowledge and skills with an up-to-date course for adults.
